Les Croupiers Casino, Cardiff Review Continued...
Location Map and Nearby Casinos
The Croups is open from 2pm until 7am, Sunday to Tuesday, and from 2pm until 6am, Wednesday to Saturday. The venue opens from 12pm instead of 2pm on Saturdays when Cardiff City are playing at home. You can join this casino for free, and all you will need is proof of identification, with a driving licence or passport being preferred.
There is a huge choice of games here, including American Roulette, Blackjack, Dice, Three Card Poker, Punto Banco, Rapid Roulette, Electronic Roulette, Mahjong and plenty of Slots. Les Croupiers boasts the highest slots payback percentage in the whole of Wales, at 94%, and titles available include Cleopatra, Wolf Run, Lucky Lady’s Charm, Pharaoh’s Fortune and many more.
A separate Poker room allows up to 200 players to compete across the baize, with cash games and tournaments being hosted on a daily basis. As well as the expected Texas Hold’em games, other Poker variations are played here, including Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi/Lo, 5/7 Card Stud and more.
There is a well-stocked Sky TV Sports Bar for those of you who fancy taking a break from the gaming, but if you want to keep going you can enjoy complimentary refreshments at the tables, which is a nice, traditional touch that is sadly becoming less common. Head to the upper floor of the building and you can enjoy a meal at the Dragon Court Restaurant, which has some great views in the direction of Cardiff City Stadium.
All in all, this is a truly superb venue for a memorable night out – one of the best.
