Realistic Games, the Berkshire-based provider of premium quality gaming content, has released its first ever multi-channel game. The new game is The Fruit Machine, and its availability in all formats means that it can be played by Ladbrokes retail customers via the company’s betting shop terminals. Players who discover the game in the High Street betting offices can continue enjoying it online from the comfort of their own homes, or even on their mobile devices when they are out and about.

The Fruit Machine is a 5-reel slot with 20 pay lines and a slightly retrospective theme which will take players back to the classic fruit machines that used to be found primarily in pubs and clubs. Symbols include the playing card ranks 10, J, Q, K and A, as well as various ‘traditional’ symbols such as melons, plums and strawberries.

A Reel Runner symbol serves as a Scatter, and if three or four appear on the reels at the same time, the player will trigger a Reel Runner Bonus Round. Any player who gets five Reel Runner symbols on the reels at the same time will win the jackpot. The Fruit Machine also boasts a Super Game mode that gives the player five linked spins, and Reel Runner symbols here are Wild, which should make it easier to trigger the Bonus Round.

Realistic Games has also released a slots title called The Fruit Factory with its other operators, which will enable an even broader audience to enjoy much the same gaming experience as those who play The Fruit Machine at Ladbrokes.

The Fruit Machine is not only a fantastic game; it is also available in every possible format, including gaming terminals in retail for the first time,’ said Andy Harris, who was recently promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer at Realistic Games.

He continued: ‘As a company with its origins in land-based gaming, it is great to be able to draw on that heritage to help produce a ground-breaking game that provides the optimum player experience no matter what device you play it on. So many companies talk about multi-channel, but to actually deliver a game that plays equally well, and with great empathy, across the full range of key channels put us in the top rank of suppliers.’

The Fruit Machine can be played via betting terminals in Ladbrokes betting shops, or online by visiting Ladbrokes Casino website and navigating to the Games tab.
