The Casino MK in Milton Keynes is to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October by donating money and raising awareness with a special ‘Pink Jack’ table. The table has been designed with the casino’s large female fanbase in mind and will offer a low stakes version of Blackjack.

Part of the Aspers Group, the Casino MK is the largest casino outside London and marketing manager Karen Andrew is delighted that the venue will contribute towards a fantastic cause, with £1 from every sold glass of Bottega Gold or Bottega Rose Gold prosecco going towards breast cancer awareness charities.

She said in CitiBlog Milton Keynes: “Our research shows women really enjoy the social aspect of the casino night out, relaxing and sharing the unique experience with groups of friends. To support this we have created a special low stakes ‘Pink Jack’ table aimed at our female customer base. Our drinks partner Bottega, who supply us with both Bottega Gold and Bottega Rose Gold, offered to get on board too, and we saw an opportunity at the same time to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.”

A charity fundraiser will take place on Wednesday 30th September to kick-start the month’s events, and will be hosted by Gail Emms MBE. The former badminton player, a silver medallist at the 2004 Olympics and Blackjack fan, is thrilled to be helping out. She said: “As a naturally competitive person I enjoy the challenge of Blackjack but I also really love the social side that The Casino MK offers, especially to women who might otherwise feel intimidated in a more old school casino venue.

“The ‘Pink Jack concept’ is a really fun idea and I am delighted to be lending my support to a cause as important for women as Breast Cancer awareness.”

There are four Aspers Casinos in the UK, with the other sites located in London, Northampton and Newcastle. Players can find out more about their local venue online and check out handy videos on how to play casino classics such as Blackjack. If you are in the Milton Keynes area in October, you can head down to The Casino MK to try and win some money, have a great night out and even help support a great charitable cause.
