The biggest jackpot won on the Microgaming progressive jackpot network this year was achieved by a mobile casino player on Tuesday 25 April, and was worth more than €8 million. The biggest Microgaming jackpot payout of all time was in October 2015, when a British player won £13.21 million (€17.87 million). Both of those jackpots were also won on the Mega Moolah game.
Mega Moolah has been a huge hit with online slots players ever since its launch in December 2006. At that time there was just one version of the game, and that had an African safari theme, but several alternative versions – all of which share the same progressive jackpot – have since been introduced. Those variations include Mega Moolah Summertime, Mega Moolah 5 Reel Drive and the Egyptian-themed Mega Moolah Isis.
Speaking about the latest Mega Moolah jackpot win, Cristiana Blanco, who is Head of Casino at Unibet, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to hear that one of our customers has managed to win the jackpot on our main Unibet brand. We at Kindred Group strive every day to deliver a safe and entertaining experience for our players across all our brands, and when one of them wins in this way, it of course makes the hard work worthwhile.’
Over at Microgaming, Games Publisher David Reynolds said: ‘This is our fifth largest jackpot win to date! Many congratulations to our Quickfire operator Unibet and their lucky player on this amazing win.’
Mega Moolah can be played at Mr Green Casino and other venues on the Microgaming and Quickfire platforms.
