Sky has been congratulated after winning the 2017 eGaming Review Innovation in Casino award. The recognition comes for the operator’s Live Casino product, which was launched earlier this year using state-of-the-art technology.

Powered by Playtech, Sky’s Live Casino offers players an enhanced omni-channel experience with major product enhancements and improved gameplay. The casino uses the industry’s leading digital Roulette wheel to help players immerse themselves fully into the action, as well as using the new Playtech Live system to cater for hundreds of custom-made tables and gaming areas.

Shimon Akad, Playtech’s chief operating officer, said: “Many congratulations to Sky on winning this prestigious and well-deserved award. This is fantastic recognition for the growth and success of their new offering, the close working relationship we continue to have with them on Live and many other products, and the innovation both Sky and Playtech continue to drive forward to generate such a unique and best-performing Live product.”

Sky Casino also won the inaugural Playtech Award earlier this year to mark the excellent work it has done in marketing and innovation across the Playtech Casino network, receiving a month’s exclusivity on a new game from the supplier plus £50,000 for future marketing.

Playtech Live is offered to a host of leading brands, giving online casino players at various different sites the opportunity to enjoy an enhanced mobile and desktop experience.
