Playtech chief Shimon Akad has expressed his excitement at the prospect of developing a new range of slots based on classic DC Entertainment titles. A new partnership deal has been agreed with the Consumer Products division of Warner Bros, granting Playtech the gaming rights for six new releases.

Two games are already in the pipeline, with slots based on DC’s 1960’s Batman Classic TV Series; Batman & Catwoman Cash and Batman vs The Joker the first to come out as part of the new partnership. Four more titles, based on Superman I, Superman II, Man of Steel and Green Lantern, are set to be rolled out in the next few months.

Playtech COO Akad said: “Our announcement at ICE this year generated significant global demand in anticipation for the launch of these exciting DC branded games. I’m extremely proud of our collaboration between Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Playtech’s innovative development studios.”

Akad added that the new games were a ‘premium addition’ to Playtech’s ‘best-performing range of the industry’s leading progressive jackpot slot content’, and he is confident that superhero fans will enjoy the gaming experience they have planned.

While these new games will be released thick and fast in the coming months, another new Playtech title is already available in time for the end of October. Halloween Fortune II, a spooky follow-up to the popular original, offers fun graphics and features, as well as some great potential payouts, and it can be played now at Sky Casino. It is a great chance to play now to help get you in the Halloween spirit, before revelling in the new DC games still to come!
