Playtech, the world’s largest supplier of online gaming software, has launched two brand new titles, and both of them are massive. The first, Top Gun, is an officially licensed premium-branded online slot which is based on the Tom Cruise movie of the same name. The second new game is Prestige Roulette, which is described as, ‘a modern-day variant of the classic casino table game.’

Top Gun hit the cinema screens way back in 1986, and was one of the movies that helped Tom Cruise to secure his future as one of the biggest stars that Hollywood has ever had. The movie is still very popular, and Cruise has hinted that he’d like to ‘fly those jets again’ as protagonist Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell. A sequel is currently being written, and with the original movie celebrating its 30th anniversary next year, there couldn’t have been a better time for Playtech to unveil its fantastic Top Gun online slot.

The Top Gun slot is a 243 Ways to Win game which is packed with video and audio sequences from the movie. Expect to hear the F-14 Tomcat engines roar as you play, then prepare to lock and load when you activate the ‘Dog Fight Wilds’ and use your missiles to pepper the reels with Top Gun win symbols. There is plenty to get excited about in this game, so strap yourself in and don’t forget to bring your aviators.

Prestige Roulette is a world away from the supersonic jet engines of Top Gun, but the title delivers plenty of excitement in its own right. This is a live roulette game which endeavours to give the player the kind of one-on-one experience that they might enjoy as a VIP in a land-based casino. The game is played in an intimate environment which is occupied by just the dealer and the roulette wheel itself.

Bets are placed via the table in the usual manner, but when you have placed all of your bets you can minimise the table to enjoy an even more immersive view of the wheel and the dealer. In addition, you can enjoy multiple camera angles to view the action from a variety of perspectives, as you prefer.

The launch of either one of these games would have warranted headlines, but both of them arriving at casinos in the same month is even more notable. Visit William Hill Casino or any other Playtech venue to try out both titles at your leisure and good luck with your bets!
