NetEnt started the year well by winning the Casino Content Provider of the Year award at the eGR Nordic Awards ceremony which took place on Thursday 21 January at the Corinthia Hotel in St. George’s Bay in Malta. According to the official judging criteria, this award goes to ‘the supplier that has offered the most casino content over the past year.’ Points that are considered when assessing how a company has fared in this respect include product development, user interface and experience, innovation and understanding of customer needs.
The second accolade that NetEnt won in January was the Casinomeister Award for Best Software Experience 2015. This award was well deserved, and mention was given to the fact that the company had ‘produced some of the most visually engaging games’ in the year assessed.
At the International Gaming Awards that were held on Monday 1 February in London, NetEnt was given the award for being Slots Provider of the Year. This is the second year in a row that the company has landed the title, and factors taken into consideration when determining the winner include innovation and the range of products that have engaged customers over the previous year.
The fourth and latest award won by NetEnt was for Casino Solutions Provider of the Year. This title was presented to the company at the Gaming Intelligence Awards which took place in London earlier this month, and recognised the fact that NetEnt had ‘awarded some of the largest jackpots ever on desktop and mobile’ during 2015.
Per Eriksson, who is Chief Executive Officer at NetEnt, was understandably proud of the new awards, ‘It’s a pleasure to see that the industry recognises the incredible effort and skill that goes into delivering NetEnt’s products and innovations,’ he said. ‘Receiving a clutch of top-class awards in such a short space of time shows that we’re definitely doing something right – and we’ll continue to adapt and improve to ensure NetEnt continues to stay at the forefront of the market.’
We congratulate NetEnt on its award-winning start to the year, and we wish the company continued success in the future. In the meantime, those of you who would like to find out what all the fuss is about can play a variety of NetEnt games (including Guns N’ Roses) at Mr Green Casino.
