Microgaming has announced that three new slots games will be arriving at online casinos this month. Two of those games, Six Acrobats and Sugar Parade, will be going live on Thursday 6 July, and the third, which is the eagerly-awaited Castle Builder II, will be launched on Wednesday 19 July. This trio of titles offers plenty of variety for slots players to enjoy over the summer, so let’s take a quick look at what to expect from the new additions.

Six Acrobats

Six Acrobats is a wonderfully different slots game which features the skills of – you guessed it – six Chinese acrobats. This five-reel title has nine pay lines, and symbols include the playing card ranks 10, J, Q, K and A (all written in traditional Chinese brush-style), a Six Acrobats logo (which is Wild), a Golden Queen (which is a Scatter) and the acrobats themselves.

Get three, four or five Scatters on the reels to trigger 15, 20 or 25 free spins, and every time another Scatter appears, an extra free spin is awarded. Wild symbols in the main game boast a 5x multiplier, but in the free spins round the multiplier increases to a staggering 25x.

Anyone who appreciates Chinese tradition will love the graphics and audio in this title, which serve to deliver a thoroughly enjoyable gaming experience. Add in the chance to win up to 390,000 credits and Six Acrobats just might have you performing somersaults of your own!

Sugar Parade

Sugar Parade is a completely different title that is packed with pastel colours and a variety of characters which also serve as sweet treats. Imagine a parade of cakes, candies, ice cream cones and more, all marching to a processional soundtrack, and you’ll have a fair idea of the experience that awaits you. Get three or more Scatter symbols to trigger free spins where all wins are tripled in size, or trigger a Queen’s Royal Bonus round and choose up to five treats to land a guaranteed win.

Castle Builder II

Castle Builder II was announced at the ICE 2017 Totally Gaming Conference in London earlier this year, and is the eagerly-anticipated sequel to Castle Builder, which was Microgaming’s first title that bridged online gaming and social gamification. Castle Builder II expands the concept even further than before, and allows players to play as one of three different avatars to explore 15 kingdoms, build 75 castles, unlock more than 100 achievements and interact with over 300 characters along the way. As far as slots games go, this one takes longevity to a remarkably satisfying extreme.

‘Once again we are delivering a real mix of games to the market, distributing titles that will appeal to different audiences,’ said David Reynolds, who is Games Publisher at Microgaming. ‘Six Acrobats pays respect to the wonderful skill of acrobatics, with animations designed to emulate movements seen in Chinese shadow puppet theatre, and low symbols hand-calligraphed by artists. While Sugar Parade is a bright and vibrant slot, with a memorable soundtrack and an engine jam-packed with treats that reflects the game’s fun theme.

‘Last, but certainly not least, Castle Builder II needs no introduction. Having showcased the game on day three of ICE Totally Gaming, this eagerly-awaited game bridges the gap between online and social gaming.’

All of these games look destined to be big hits, and will be playable at 32Red Casino and other venues on the Microgaming platform.
