Grosvenor Launches ‘Casino Cab’

Grosvenor Casinos' latest venue is a little different from the company’s usual haunts. Delightfully known as “World’s Smallest Travelling Casino”, the latest offering from this gambling industry giant is housed in the back of a London cab and offers passengers a unique ride.

The traditional London cab will feature lessons in playing blackjack and online gaming, in addition to offering a bar and two television screens showing all the latest of the summer’s sporting action. Passengers will be transported to their local Grosvenor Casino for free or anywhere within the London city limits for an optional donation to the Carers Trust. This latest advertising campaign can be seen driving round the streets of the nation’s capital before it continues its journey northwards to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, before finally coming to a stop in Glasgow.

Grosvenor, part of the successful Rank Group, are using this latest advertising campaign to promote the casino’s sports betting operations ahead of a massive summer of sport that includes the European Championships in France and the Olympic Games in Rio. Grosvenor bosses have also recruited former England cricketer and A Question of Sport team captain Phil Tufnel to further build-up the cab’s launch and emphasize the sporting theme. In a press conference, Grosvenor Casinos' Sales and Marketing Director Jo Blundell announced that the company has high hopes for the cab: “We’re thrilled to announce the launch of what we believe to be the world’s smallest travelling casino and reward our loyal customer base with some complimentary rides, as well as welcome some new faces – it is truly a unique experience.”

If you’d like to take a ride in the casino cab, journeys can be requested by tweeting Grosvenor Casinos’ official Twitter account with your intended destination.
