Grosvenor Casino customers have been promised an even better service after the operator agreed a deal to use Playtech’s Neon casino management system in all 55 of its UK venues. The new link-up will establish a number of benefits, including the ability to track player data, improve security measures and support responsible gaming initiatives.

Playtech Neon is already used in all of Genting’s 43 UK casinos, and once the system is rolled out across Grosvenor’s venues it will mean that over 90 percent of the UK’s casinos will be serviced by Playtech Retail. Richard Playle, Grosvenor Casinos’ Director of Finance, is delighted with the agreement and insists it will help punters as well as the business.

He said: “We needed a partner that could match our technical vision and quickly deliver a solution which supports the needs of a wide range of users across a geographically and operationally diverse estate. We evaluated all leading systems vendors and selected Playtech based on their industry-leading technical architecture, unrivalled operational expertise and willingness to customise Neon to drive our business forward.”

Martin Sykes, managing director of Playtech subsidiary Intelligent Gaming Systems, has also welcomed the deal. The Neon system is part of the Playtech ONE omni-channel solution, which has been designed to provide operators with a clearer way to monitor their customers and improve cross-channel player conversion, and Sykes is in no doubt that it will fit perfectly with the Grosvenor Casino brand.

He said: “We are proud to partner with the UK’s largest casino operator and cement our position as the fastest-growing supplier of systems to retail casinos. This project is another example of our unique consultative approach. We performed an extensive scoping exercise to analyse Grosvenor’s requirements and worked closely with the group’s operational experts to identify several opportunities to improve our systems and the casinos’ business processes.”

The latest deal is another step in Grosvenor Casinos’ drive to keep going from strength to strength across all platforms. The Grosvenor website recently had a makeover and offers a range of games and promotions, such as the chance to get a free £20 casino bonus for anyone who has visited one of Grosvenor’s land-based clubs. Check out the online review or take a trip down to your local Grosvenor casino, which is soon likely to be better than ever under the service of the Playtech Neon system.
