Genting UK has signed an agreement with live casino solutions provider Evolution Gaming to install a customised Dual Play Roulette game at Genting International Casino, which is located at Genting Resorts World in Birmingham. The new Dual Play Roulette game will be playable in person by those who visit the venue, and also remotely, giving all players a remarkably flexible way to try and beat the wheel.

On one level, playing at the Dual Play Roulette table will be much like playing any other live roulette game. Players will take a seat, place their chips on the baize, see the wheel being spun and receive their winnings directly from the croupier in the traditional manner. What will make the table different, however, is the fact that it will also be equipped with multiple video cameras which deliver the action, as it happens, to players via their mobile devices.

This will make it possible for those who stay at Genting Resorts World in Birmingham to spend some time at the Dual Play Roulette table itself, and then to head off to a bar or restaurant and continue playing on their mobile device. Players will even be able to play from the comfort of their hotel rooms, which should come in very handy for those who enjoy a winning streak but don’t want to spend all night actually sitting at the wheel.

The Dual Play Roulette game will also be available to those who play at Genting Casino Online, and that will help to bring the online and offline roulette experience even closer. It’s one thing playing live roulette online when the action is being streamed from who-knows-where, but it’s quite another knowing exactly where the physical table is located, and being able – if one desires – to visit Genting International Casino in Birmingham and play at the exact same table in person.

‘Our Dual Play Roulette is a natural extension to Genting's Live Casino portfolio and a major opportunity for Genting to maximise their player base and further strengthen the Genting brand online,’ said James Stern, who is Director of Business Development & Land-based Sales at Evolution Gaming. ‘It's also a significant further extension of Evolution’s range of Dual Play Roulette tables available to our network of operators.’

He continued: ‘The plan is to showcase the table on the main gaming floor with a customised rig incorporating multiple screens to promote key messages to players. Underpinning those messages will be the fact that players can play at the Genting Dual Play table whenever and wherever they choose, assured of Genting's trusted brand and integrity.’

Dual Play Roulette will go live at Genting International Casino, and at Genting Casino online, later this month.
