The new Coral Vegas casino app has launched, supported by a three-month marketing campaign which includes a TV advert featuring an electric tiger. The commercial made its debut last night after the Sunderland v Everton game on Sky Sports 1 and will appear on a number of other channels as well as in cinemas and on digital platforms.

The advert’s main character was created by the Moving Picture Company, which was responsible for creating fellow tiger Shere Khan in the recent Jungle Book film. He is depicted strolling around Cape Town, where the clip was filmed, swaggering his way through the moonlit streets.

The app brings together Coral’s best online casino offerings in one platform, with users able to reach slots, live casino tables, scratchcards and eight jackpots of more than £1 million with a couple of swipes. New games are expected to be added regularly, with some of the slots on offer designed exclusively for the app. Apple users can take advantage of the Touch ID feature on their devices to gain instant access to the online casino.

The app is also integrated into Coral’s Connect card system, which allows users to deposit and withdraw cash at the company’s retail outlets. Players can also fund sports bets and bingo games through the same method, which works using contactless technology and a PIN.

Coral’s head of advertising, Paul Corson, said of the new app, “Coral Vegas will be our primary casino product on mobile, offering the best and most popular games from our online and retail catalogues as well as a constant pipeline of new and exclusive games developed by our in-house studio.”
