Location Map and Nearby Casinos
This venue is open from 12pm until 6am, every day of the year except Christmas Day. It is situated on Upper Parliament Street (number 108 if you’re taking a taxi), which is just a ten-minute walk away from the train station. Those of you who drive can park under the casino, but be sure to log your car registration details at the cash desk or restaurant as soon as you arrive. Sign up as a member (providing a photo driving licence or passport as proof of ID) and you will receive a Player Rewards loyalty card, which you will need to show to get access to the venue after 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
The table games that can be played at Alea Casino Nottingham include Blackjack, American Roulette and Three Card Poker. For players who prefer to get their gaming kicks in front of a screen, there are more than enough slots to keep you busy for several hours. Poker is played here regularly, and you have a choice of participating in cash games or tournaments, so check the schedule if you favour a particular format.
The main bar is the aptly named Alea Bar, which is open from 12pm until 5am and serves all the liquid refreshment you could ever need. The second bar is the Hidden Bar, which is a much more exclusive area that is open from 9pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. As for the restaurant, Marco Pierre White himself describes it best when he promises: ‘Honest quality dining in a relaxed environment with a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails.’
All in all, it is difficult to fault this venue, so if you are ever in the area and want a quality night out, the Alea Casino Nottingham is highly recommended.
