Donald Trump Odds-On to Leave Office Before End of First Term

Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States less than six weeks ago, but some bookmakers already think that there is a fair chance of him leaving office via impeachment or resignation before the end of his first four-year term. Ladbrokes are currently offering bettors odds of 10/11 for that outcome, and the odds of him being replaced this year are as short as 9/4, so the bookies clearly haven’t been too impressed with his performance so far.

Other markets available at Ladbrokes make Trump a 1/3 shot to visit the UK before the end of this year, a 6/4 shot to visit Russia before the end of this year, a 1/2 shot not to be re-elected as President of the United States in 2020, and a 50/1 shot to win the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.

Whilst all of those are interesting markets, they aren’t the only ones available from bookmakers by any means. Paddy Power, who are famous for their tongue-in-cheek opportunities, currently offer ‘A Golden Shower of Trump Odds’ which consists of more than 100 bets. Not all of those bets are humorous, of course, so bettors can take odds of 6/4 about Trump being impeached, 5/1 about his marriage to Melania ending before his presidency, and 2/5 about him repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which is more commonly known as Obamacare.

As far as the more light-hearted betting Donald Trump betting opportunities are concerned, here are just some of our favourites:

20/1 that he will announce that alien lifeforms exist, and 33/1 that he will open Area 51 to the public during his first term.

50/1 that he will outlaw the theory of evolution during his first term.

25/1 that he will convert to Scientology, and 33/1 that he will be excommunicated by the Pope.

500/1 that he will ban stairs during his first term.

10/1 that he will have a pet dog called Donald Jr during his stay at the White House.

2/1 that he will confirm that he has had some kind of hair surgery, and 25/1 that he will grow a Hitler moustache.

50/1 that the government of France will make an official request for the USA to return the Statue of Liberty.

There are many more betting opportunities to be discovered in addition to the ones highlighted here, so if you have any kind of opinion about Donald Trump or his presidency that you would like to put money on, visit Paddy Power to explore the full range of available markets and good luck!
