Mecca Max Tablets Add Three More Playtech Games

Mecca Bingo players can now enjoy an even more varied experience when they visit their local clubs after three games were added to the Mecca Max range. The new slots, all from prominent software developer Playtech, are Fortunate 5, Bounty and the Beanstalk and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Mecca Max tablets are touch-screen devices that can be played in all 87 Mecca clubs in the UK. They provide a different way of playing to traditional paper bingo tickets, making it much easier to keep track of your numbers, and also provide a selection of slots to choose from in between rounds of bingo.

While Mecca Max devices have been around since 2012, it was only last August that the first Playtech games, Heart of the Jungle and Adventures in Wonderland, were introduced. Rod Runnalls, head of slots projects at Mecca Bingo, believes the latest development is another sign of the company’s drive to give players an exceptional gaming experience. The new slots are the result of an agreement on the part of Mecca Bingo to use the Playtech ONE omni-channel solution to provide new content across all devices in Mecca clubs throughout the country.

“This strategically important project has gone from strength to strength since it began last year,” said Runnalls. “We can now provide a fantastic breadth and quality of content to our players who have really taken to the new games on the Mecca Max handhelds.”

Fortunate 5 can also be played at terminals within Mecca Bingo’s clubs and Lee Harford, Playtech’s head of retail content, is excited by the prospect of more players getting the chance to enjoy games. He said: “The addition of a further two highly popular Playtech titles is a real endorsement of our omni-channel games and their success across all channels including the Mecca Max handheld.

“We have a great relationship with Mecca and are delighted with the impact our titles have had across all their channels in retail, online, mobile and the handheld devices.”
