The new ad begins with the old mascot, a suited and booted fox who speaks with the voice of a Northern man, dancing with a group of fellow bingo enthusiasts. However, when the fox takes off its mask, it is revealed to be Boogie Nights star Graham, who is wrestling with the depth of Foxy’s character.
Future clips will show Graham enjoying lots of the games offered by Foxy Bingo and Casino, and the 47-year-old is happy to be involved. She said: “I love comedy and I love British wit. When they told me I would get to play Foxy, I loved the idea and thought it was hilarious. I especially loved wearing the tail. I wish I could have kept the tail! I’ve never gotten to play a man or a fox so it was a big challenge.”
Adele Lawton, Group Head of Bingo at Foxy’s parent company GVC Holdings, said: “Our partnership with Heather Graham is the largest phase of a £10 million brand revamp and marketing campaign which will bring Foxy to a new generation of players. Heather is the embodiment of our mantra: ‘Random. Fun.”
Heather is featured prominently on the new-look Foxy Bingo site, which showcases the ongoing ‘Million Squid Giveaway’ and gives bingo fans the chance to enjoy a range of bingo and slots games.
