The UK will be celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday 26 March, and bingo clubs up and down the country are planning to make things extra special to mark the occasion. Sundays are always a popular day for bingo players, but Mothering Sunday is a day on which many people like to visit bingo venues as a family, so special events on that day will make things even more exciting than usual.

The range of Mother’s Day bingo events that are being planned is almost as diverse as the number of venues in the country. For example, multiple Mecca Bingo clubs are currently taking nominations for a ‘Mum in a Million’ at each venue. The winners will each receive an all-expenses night out for themselves and one guest, as well as flowers and chocolates. Of course, the lucky mums could also win big at the bingo itself, which would make for an even more memorable day!

Similarly, Gala Bingo clubs will be hosting a Mother’s Day party on the afternoon and evening of Sunday 26th March. Everyone who joins will receive a free box of Guylian chocolates, and any player who calls a win on the number 1 will win themselves £100 in cash, over and above the regular prize. The clubs will also be offering a free prize draw game which will offer a range of prizes including a Karen Millen watch and a month of free bingo.

Of course, there are many more bingo venues across the country which don’t belong to either of the Mecca or Gala chains, so anyone who fancies planning to visit their local bingo hall would do well to contact those directly to find out exactly what is scheduled to take place and when.

Bingo fans who prefer to enjoy playing the game from the comfort of their own homes will be pleased to hear that most online bingo sites with a bias towards UK clients will also be hosting a variety of Mother’s Day events. These are expected to include free bingo games, bigger prize pools, special chat-based games and more, so do visit your favourite online site closer to the time to check out the details of those.

In the meantime, those of you who have a Mecca Bingo hall nearby might want to make a nomination for the ‘Mum in a Million’  competition. Visit the Mecca Bingo site to locate your nearest club, and good luck to everyone who gets involved!
