Winner last time out

If you want to win regularly, bet on horses which won their last races. Using this approach you will automatically eliminate the vast majority of runners - and at the same time, the vast majority of losers! If there are several horses in the same race which won their last races, you can either bet on all of them or you can ignore the race altogether. Some people limit themselves to betting on a maximum of three previous winners in the same race. If there are more than three previous winners, the race is ignored.

The theory behind this method is simple: By betting on horses which have already proved that they can win, you are not expecting them to do anything more than they have already achieved. All you want is for them to run to the best of their ability.
