On average, all six trap numbers in UK greyhound races win roughly equal numbers of races. This means that, on average, any given greyhound has a 16.6% chance of winning. Since 16.6% is a 5/1 chance or thereabouts, a good system is to bet on any greyhound on offer at odds in excess of 5/1. You will still only win around one in six races, but over the long term a good profit should be generated.
