Roulette Winning Streaks

Roulette Winning StreaksRoulette winning streaks are sequences of spins where one type of bet wins again and again. For example, red, black, odd or even might show up five times out of six, and if you happen to be betting on one of these outcomes then you’ll be raking the chips with a huge smile on your face.

Unfortunately, winning streaks can never be predicted. Each spin of the roulette wheel is totally unrelated to previous or future spins. In other words, it’s an independent event. Over the long term, there will be roughly equal numbers of red and black and odd and even numbers, but the law of averages says nothing about a single spin.

A winning streak is nothing more than a welcome, momentary flutter in an endless time-line which will at some point soon be cancelled out by one or more losing streaks. Despite this, many online roulette players would rather bet with a streak rather than against it.

Why is this? Well, any gambler who has played in casinos for a while will know that the improbable can and will happen in any game, on any given night. We have heard from players who have seen red appear more than twenty times in a row, and there are undoubtedly many more players who have seen black, odd and even numbers streak in a similar way. In such as these cases, if you bet with the streak and are wrong, you only lose one bet. But if you bet consistently against a streak and it continues, you can be losing money time after time.

Because each spin of the roulette wheel is an independent event, we have no idea when a winning streak will occur, but if we think that we have noticed one getting started, betting with it rather than against it is probably a good idea.
