Roulette Strategies
Roulette strategies are deliberately strategic approaches to the game that are intended to help the online roulette player increase their chances of enjoying a profitable session. Although such roulette strategies don’t change the odds of winning, they can certainly add to the fun aspect of a gaming session – and could win you some cash at the same time...
It should go without saying that high-risk roulette strategies such as the Martingale System should be avoided at all costs. Roulette is meant to be a game in which you can relax and enjoy yourself at your chosen online casino, not worry about whether you will lose your shirt in the process, so you should focus on using roulette strategies that won’t ruin you financially if they don’t succeed.
One such strategy involve betting on two opposing even money shots at the same time and adopting a separate staking plan for each one. For example, you could adopt a stop at a winner staking plan of 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and cease betting after six consecutive losers or revert back to the beginning of the sequence after a winner. Using the sequence on both red and black (or odd and even) would give you some kind of return as long as the dreaded green zero doesn’t come up.
To do this, you would bet 1 point on red and 1 point on black. If red wins then you would go back to the beginning of the betting sequence for the next bet on red, and at the same time move on to the second figure in the sequence for the next bet on black. Using this strategy, your maximum possible loss would be 40 points, and you would lose that amount if a green zero appeared on six consecutive spins of the wheel.
Another popular roulette strategy is the simple 1-2-4 progression. To use this, you choose any even money shot (red, black, odd, even, 1-18 or 18-36) and you begin by betting 1 point on that outcome. If it loses, you bet 2 points on the same outcome for the next spin. If it loses again, you bet 4 points on the same outcome for the third spin. If you get a winner at any point you stop betting and walk away with a 1 point profit. If all three spins lose, you stop betting and walk away with a 7 point loss.
Roulette strategies don't guarantee success by any means, but they can provide a lot of fun and give you a fighting chance of making money. Why not visit a roulette-rich casino such as Virgin Casino and give them a go?
