All of these headlines – and others like them – are extremely eye-catching, and the copy that usually follows them is, generally speaking, equally impressive. Many websites explain at length how they have discovered a ‘flaw’ in the armour of online casinos which you can easily exploit by following a step-by-step plan to win as much cash as you can handle. Some websites even show you tables of profits that have been achieved by using their approach. And all you have to do to start making the same kind of profit is sign up for their system. Of course, exactly how much that will cost you varies from site to site…
Unfortunately, none of the roulette pipe dreams that you can find on the internet are as brilliant as people make out, and that’s because all of the so-called ‘guaranteed’ roulette systems are based on you using a staking plan and hitting a winner before your money runs out. Regular readers of this site will know that we have discussed such approaches before (see our articles on Roulette Strategies and the Martingale System, for example) but although these approaches can and do win from time to time, they can lose – and sometimes a lot of money – just as easily. That isn’t something that the roulette pipe dream merchants want you to know until it’s too late.
Thinking about things logically, if someone had found a fatal ‘flaw’ in the casino’s armour and could guarantee himself a ton of money on a daily basis, would he really sell it online for a few dollars? Or for any amount? And, even if he were kind enough to do something like that, would the online casino industry be happy to sit back and allow their ‘flaw’ to remain exposed to all and sundry? The answer to all of those questions is obviously no, so the only explanation – and for the reasons already provided – is that the roulette pipe dreams are just that: fantasies that have been spun to lure in the unsuspecting newcomer who wants to get rich quick.
Online roulette is a superb game. It is entertaining, involving, classy, enjoyable and yes, when luck is on your side it can be very profitable.
