A bingo player who won £188,508 in the National Bingo Game at Wrexham’s Mecca Bingo hall in July had been playing for 50 years before scooping the six-figure sum. Local woman Kath Jones recently picked up her winning cheque and admitted she was still in shock at the huge win. Gala Bingo To Bring New £5 Million Club To Southampton

Gala Bingo’s first new club in nine years is set to open in Southampton in January and create 50 new jobs. The project has cost £5 million and it is hoped the new club will attract a younger crowd as well as catering for long-term bingo fans.
