Online Baccarat Staking Plan
In a previous article on Baccarat Progressions we presented two fairly gentle staking progressions which players could use to try and generate an overall profit from a sequence of bets that ends with a winner. In this article we will give you another online baccarat staking plan, albeit with the usual caveat that staking plans in no way guarantee success and should be viewed merely as interesting ways of betting.
The Hit and Run
The Hit and Run staking plan is a fast and aggressive progression which – in its original format – allows you to bet on up to three hands and no more. The idea here is that the less time you spend at the tables, the less time there is for the house edge to work against you. Of course, you will need one of your three hands to win to show a profit, but if you are willing to bet on that happening, here is how the Hit and Run staking plan works:
Bet 1 point on the Banker. If the Banker wins, cease betting. If the Banker loses, proceed to bet 2 points on the Banker. If the Banker wins, cease betting. If the Banker loses, proceed to bet 4 points on the Banker. If the Banker wins, cease betting. If the Banker loses, cease betting.
Three losing hands in a row using the Hit and Run staking plan would cost you 7 points, whilst a winning hand at some point will give you a modest overall profit of just under 1 point.
As stated a few moments ago, the Hit and Run staking plan is designed to be used for a maximum of three hands, but it is possible to start afresh after a winning hand if you wish to do so. This would enable you to enjoy a winning run for as long as you manage to avoid getting three losing hands in a row. For example, consider the following sequence in which the Banker bet wins a total of seven times (indicated by W) and loses a total of seven times (indicated by L):
W, L, L, W, W, W, L, L, W, L, W, L, L, W
Here the Hit and Run system would have give you seven winning sequences, and in that case you would have made a little under 7 points profit overall. Of course, if you had encountered three losing Banker bets at any point then you wouldn’t have fared anywhere near as well, and could easily have made a 7 point loss – more if you had ignored the ‘three losing hands’ rule and continued betting after a losing sequence.
We will leave you to paper trade the Hit and Run staking plan and examine it as you see fit. Whether or not you choose to use it in practice, have fun and good luck at the tables!
